Tonight we have a special tea of the day! Deanzdoodlez just sent me a package of really awesome art and I wanted to share it with you! A dalek on a mission to get the doctor, my fish buddy - Franklin, a Dark Knight logo, and a cat!!!! Dean requested a tea with lemon so we have a dalek brewing some St. Dalfour’s Lemon Tea!!! ^_^
After seeing a ‘what if’ post about Chef Gordon Ramsay on the Tardis, I just couldn’t help myself ^_^
Tea of the Day featuring The Doctor(s), Jack, and The Master! I decided to try making spiced chai with coconut milk in my TARDIS mug. I think I prefer almond and soy milk over coconut milk as a tea additive, but it isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever tried ~_^
I hope you guys have a great time watching DW tonight, sadly I will have to wait and get it from iTunes in the morning!
Tea of the Day (sort of)
I got two new teas, but I didn’t bring anything with me to make loose tea in, so I will have to wait until next week to actually brew these. They smell great though! :)
Also, Eleven… b/c DOCTOR WHO TONIGHT!!!!!!!! ^_^
Tea of the Day!
I recently received some tea samples from the wonderful people at Teavivre so I just made my first cup of the 2007 Mengku Palace Ripened Golden Buds Pu-erh! The Doctor had a blast helping me out too ~_^
This tea has a wonderful earthy aroma and the taste is incredibly smooth with a hint of sweetness! The tea held up very well and I was able to steep 3 times and still have a strong cup! I used a rounded teaspoon with 6 ounces of boiling water, gave the tea a quick rinse, and then steeped for 4 minutes.
As I usually mention, I like my teas very strong so I prepare pu-erh western style; you may wish to steep for less time if you are not a fan of very strong tea!
The tea is so mellow that you shouldn’t need any cream or sugar to enjoy :)
